Your workspace
The workspace is the container for everything: your data connections, your people, your saved work and your subscription. This page explains what belongs to it and who can change what.
A workspace is created once, by the person who signs up, and that person becomes its Owner. Everyone else joins by invitation. You belong to exactly one workspace at a time, so there is no switcher and no risk of asking a question against the wrong company's data.
What lives inside a workspace
- Every database connection and uploaded spreadsheet.
- Every member, their role, and any pending invitations.
- Every chat conversation, kept per member.
- Every saved chart, table, map and file, whether private or shared.
- The subscription, the plan, the credit balance and the usage history.
Renaming it
Open Settings and choose the Workspace tab. Change the name and save.
The name is not cosmetic. Belta uses it when it introduces itself at the start of a conversation, and it is printed in the footer of every Excel, Word, PDF and PowerPoint file the platform generates. If you rename the workspace, files generated afterwards carry the new name and files already saved keep the old one.
Who can do what
There are three roles. Every member can ask questions, save their own work and see anything shared with them.

There is exactly one Owner
Ownership is not a role you can hand out to a second person. It moves. If the Owner is leaving, they transfer ownership to a specific member, and that transfer needs both an email confirmation from the current Owner and an acceptance from the incoming one before it takes effect. If the subscription lapses
Chat stops. Everything else stays readable: your dashboard, your saved charts, tables, maps and files are all still there, and they come back to life the moment the subscription is renewed. Nothing is deleted because a payment was missed.
