Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of DataBelta (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that organization.

1. About the Service

DataBelta is an AI assistant that connects to your own database and answers questions about it in natural language, producing answers, charts, tables, maps, and exportable files. The Service is strictly read-only: the AI has no tools that can write to your database, and every query path enforces that only read statements are executed. DataBelta never copies or mirrors your database; queries run live against your source.

3. Access & Accounts

  • Registration is invite-only. Access is provisioned by DataBelta after an agreement is in place. Start by booking a demo.
  • Email confirmation is required before you can sign in.
  • You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
  • Optional two-factor authentication is available via email code or an authenticator app, and we recommend enabling it.
  • Accounts are temporarily locked after 5 failed sign-in attempts.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable law;
  • attempt to perform write operations, bypass the read-only enforcement, or inject malicious queries or code;
  • resell, redistribute, sublicense, or otherwise provide the Service to third parties;
  • abuse AI credits, for example through automated bulk requests intended to circumvent plan limits.

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of this section.

5. Your Data & Credentials

  • Database credentials you provide are encrypted with AES-256 before storage. Once saved, they can never be viewed again by anyone, including DataBelta staff.
  • All database access through the Service is read-only, enforced at every layer of the system.
  • You warrant that you have the necessary rights and permissions to connect the databases and upload the files you use with the Service, and that doing so does not violate any third-party rights or applicable law.

6. AI-Generated Answers

Answers are generated by an AI model and may contain errors, omissions, or misinterpretations of your data. You should verify important results before relying on them for business decisions. AI output is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional, financial, legal, or medical advice.

7. Billing & Payment

Billing is manual and agreed directly with you: we invoice you and record a paid-through date, and that date is what gates access to the Service. There is no payment gateway in the product and we never collect or store payment card data. For refunds and cancellations, see our Refund Policy.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is and remains the property of PrimeLink or its licensors. Your data remains yours: you retain all rights to the databases you connect, the files you upload, and the content of your workspace. You grant us only the rights needed to operate the Service for you.

9. Termination & Account Deletion

Either party may terminate the relationship. When an account is deleted, a 7-day grace period applies during which the deletion can be cancelled; after that, all account data, including generated files and uploads, is permanently and irreversibly deleted.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. Material changes will be communicated to you, and continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of its courts.
